    Senior Fitness Classes at All Saints Serbian Orthodox Church

    It is recommended Adults aged 65 and older need: At least 150 minutes a week (for example, 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week) of moderate-intensity activity. During the winter months, it is more difficult to get the exercise necessary.

    We have created an indoor program for seniors aged 65+ to enjoy fitness classes and comradery with others in the community. Each class is lead by a professional fitness trainer, with experience in strength, conditioning and cardio, for age specific exercises. Two trainers will attend each session to ensure proper instruction and supervision for the best effect for each participant.

    Fitness classes will involve the following

    Stretching

    Resistance band workouts

    Chair assisted workouts

    Body weight workouts

    Varying intensity cardio and strength training

    Mobility exercises

    Bone density exercises

    & more

    Preparation

    Location & Times

    Sessions will take place on the upper floor of the Hall, at All Saints Serbian Orthodox Church Grounds. Additional sessions are to be added as needed.

    Equipment

    All equipment will be provided such as chairs, mats and resistance bands.
    Fresh fruit and water will be available for participants after each training for hydration and snack.

    Schedule

    The classes for Seniors Fit is every Monday from 11:30 am until 12:30 am except for holidays.
